The effect of music and words on water and us!

I have chosen this subject because it may help us learn on a cellular level how our words and our environment choices such as music and the people and places we hang out can really effect us in ways beyond the obvious.
I think that we should be mindful of how we speak to others as our words not only effect them but they will effect us to. please read below for more in depth info... and remember to say thank you to your lemon water in the morning! (please see previous blog for Benefits of Lemon Water)

Sometimes, when we cannot see the immediate results of our prayers and affirmations, we think that we have failed. But, as we learn through Masaru Emoto's amazing photographs, that thought of failure itself becomes represented in the physical objects that surround us. Now that we have seen this, perhaps we can begin to realize that even when immediate results are invisible to the unaided human eye, they are there. When we love our own bodies, they respond. When we send our love to the Earth, she responds.
For our own bodies at birth are 70 percent water, and the percentage of water in our bodies remains high throughout life (depending upon weight and body type). Also, the earth's surface is 70 percent water. And now we have seen before our eyes the proof that water is far from inanimate, but is actually alive and responsive to our every thought and emotion. Perhaps, having seen this, we can begin to really understand the awesome power that we possess, through choosing our thoughts and intentions, to heal ourselves and the earth. If only we believe.

The benefits of drinking Lemon water

    If like me you find it hard to add new good habits to your life don't worry, just sneak them in!
    I have a lovely crystal class(only one, i have a child!!) next to my bed, inside the glass is a big love heart rose crystal*and filtered water. Every morning before I get up i take the time to drink this water... it is not as good for me as warm lemon water but I know myself and I know i need to change habits one step at a time. Is is better then going straight for a T or coffee.
    *Rose Quartz is known as 'The Stone of Unconditional Love'. It is believed to encourage love, forgiveness and compassion.*

    Olive oil used in cooking and salads 'cuts risk of stroke by 41%'

    People who cook with olive oil, add it to salads and dip their bread in it are 41 per cent less likely to suffer a stroke than those who never eat it. Researchers who carried out a study of almost 8,000 people say all older people will live longer if they eat lots of it. The Mediterranean diet relies heavily on olive oil and is regarded as the classic eating habit in countries such as France, Greece, Spain and Italy.

    I like this article because i am very aware of what I eat... I am not saying i am perfect oh no not by any means but if you can introduce a little thing at a time you will bring about big change eventually.

    Exercise may protect against Alzheimer's disease

    Exercise boosts levels of a brain molecule that may protect against Alzheimer’s disease, scientists have shown. They believe the protein PGC-1alpha could lead to new treatments. It also appears to guard against type 2 diabetes. Researchers studied brain samples from dead Alzheimer’s patients and from healthy people.

    This article is close to my heart as my nanny has just been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's, it is hard for her to exercise now as she also has arthritis. My advice is to find a safe fun form of fitness and keep active so that you can enjoy your health for a long time to come.

    Commitment to yourself

    Fitness is a life style choice and a life time commitment, it is a gift you can give to  your body for all that it dose to support your life here. When you pass 30yrs things are harder to maintain you will need to decide how to maintain your fitness and your body- that's why i love pole dancing and Zumba for fitness because it id FUN! pole dancing help so much with core strength (put away the tenner ladies!) and confidence a whole body work out that feeds your goddess side, it is forever challenging and keeps you interested. It also promotes freedom of expression which i love! Zumba compliments pole because it is fun and great cadio! I love those Latin rhythms, yum yum yummy!
